Remembering Sister Willa Dorsey
Our dear friend, Sister Willa Dorsey, first came to Everlasting in May 1990, and she sang for us, about 25 of us. She gave us the same performance she gave to presidents and kings around the world, starting with “Have Thine Own Way, Lord,” and finishing with “Come to Jesus.” She shared her testimony and she told us she hadn't used her voice to become an opera singer because she didn't want to sing about sorrow and death - she only wanted to sing about life and joy and peace, all about Jesus.
